Peak Design Everyday Backpack V2 — a review
The Everyday Backpack V2 is still the default choice for one-bag photographers, but the FlexFold dividers are the real story.
The Verdict
“The bag every other camera backpack gets compared to. Fast access, honest carry, and the best dividers on the market. Watch the price and the frame stiffness if you carry heavy loads.”
This is a placeholder review. Full testing notes coming.
Who this bag is for
- Photographers who carry one body, 2-3 lenses, and a laptop
- One-bag travelers who want a bag that doesn't look like a camera bag
- People who value fast side-access over top-loading
Who it isn't for
- Heavy-kit shooters carrying 3+ lenses and a flash
- Long hikes with 15+ pounds (the frame is too soft)
- Budget shoppers ($280 for the 20L is not cheap)
The kit we tested it with
- Sony A7 IV body with 24-70 GM II attached
- 16-35 GM
- 70-200 GM II (this is a tight fit)
- 14-inch MacBook Pro
- Small accessory pouch (chargers, cables, filters)
Full review and photos coming.
